This hand-colored detailed North America Sheet XI Parts of North and South Carolina Map was made by the Society for the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge. It was published in 1833 by Baldwin & Cradock of London and printed by J. & C. Walker.

Topics include South Carolina history (especially Charleston and the Low Country) and participation in S.C. chapters of Children of the Confederacy and the UDC, Colonial Dames, Huguenot Society, and Society for Preservation of Spirituals; and organizations in Augusta, Georgia, and in Hendersonville, North Carolina where she lived after marrying John Baxton Flowers III. Materials include correspondence, programs, clippings, newsletters, ephemera, photographs, periodicals, pamphlets, brochures, and related items.
William John Morris was born May 8, 1793 in South Carolina. He kept genealogical records in the William John Morris family Bible. The collection spans 1814-1920 and includes photocopies of John Morris family records and a CD containing images of the John Morris family records.
Walley Chauncey Family Collection (ca. 1827 - 1982) including photocopies of correspondence, photographs, clippings, plats, and genealogical charts, relating to Walley Chauncey and his descendants in Eastern North Carolina.
This collection consists of the family records, photographs, and genealogy records collected by Sarah Westray Bunn of Elizabeth City, North Carolina. She was an East Carolina Teachers' College 1936 graduate and served in the Army Nurse Corps from 1941 to 1966. Included are genealogy notes concerning the Lewis, Suggs, Speight, Powell, Harrison, and Exum families of Eastern N.C.; late 19th century and 20th Century photographs; correspondence (1905-1998); an 1847 book of children's poetry; clippings; genealogy charts; and a tombstone rubbing.

This collection includes reminiscences by Peggy Rose Roberts Worthington (born December 29, 1931) of her life in Pitt County from childhood on a tobacco farm to the present that she wrote in 2012 and 2013 while participating in an East Carolina University Lifelong Learning Program creative writing course. Also found in this collection are photocopies of genealogical material and photographs pertaining to the Buck family of Pitt County, North Carolina, and the affiliated Jarrell family of North Carolina and South Carolina compiled by Lillie Mae Kite Buck.
